Amy-Kristin Carroll

Art

For Amy-Kristin, visual arts, literature and music gave vibrancy to a challenging childhood. As an adult, the vibrancy hasn’t dulled and she enjoys being able to connect with students from ages 3 to 103 and seeing their joy as they develop skills and are encouraged. Color and texture are evident throughout her artistic endeavors. From her personal art, to working as a Middle School Art teacher, costumer, set designer, freelance painting instructor, Master Sewist and Homeschooling, creativity is a vital part of it all. Amy-Kristin has a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a focus in painting, drawing & interior architect along with a Minor in Art History, a Masters in Art Education, and has interned & worked as a Master Artist for Kentucky Museum of Art & Craft (KMAC) in Louisville. Raven Ohlemacher

Voice

Raven's passion for singing and music was ignited at a young age. Her formative years were filled with singing and playing around the kitchen table with her family to their favorite songs, which paved the way for a high school choral career as Lead Soprano and soloist. She then went on to perform with the IU Southeast Concert Choir and competed in the 2011 NATS competition. Today, she spends her free time making music with her friends and performing vocals for our Ensembles Community Jazz Band! Her guiding principle in vocal coaching is that the voice is more than just a sound; it is the expression of who we are, what we believe, and how we feel.
