Pirates Musical Theater Camp

Ahoy, mateys! Set sail for adventure at the Pirate Musical Theater Camp, hosted by the City of Charlestown and Charlestown Ensembles for bold buccaneers in 3rd–8th grade. Landlubbers and seasoned performers alike are welcome to join the crew!

This summer, our band of swabbies will be learning and performing Pirates! The Musical, an action-packed tale following a salty crew featuring the likes of Bluebeard, Yellowbeard, Whitebeard, and the notorious “No Beards.” With the Jolly Roger flying high, the plot thickens when a stowaway is discovered on board. To solve the mystery, our pirates must seek the help of the legendary King of the High “Cs.” Join us for music, mayhem, and a rollicking good time on the high seas!

This camp will meet at the Arts & Enrichment Center at 999 Water St. in Charlestown, but we’ll kick it off with a special first session at Ensembles 1120 Monroe St. on Sunday afternoon June 7, 2:00-6:00 PM.

The camp will culminate in two performances Friday June 12 at 2PM and 7 PM.

All campers will be in the musical, but if your “bilge rat” is interested in a principal role, we will be holding OPTIONAL auditions on May 26 from 5-8 PM. Reserve your audition time today at https://charlestownensembles.com/pirate-auditions.
