Culinary Arts

Meranda Morris is a communicator, educator, and ministry leader who values creativity, connection, and practical life skills. The classes she offers are designed to complement Ensembles’ focus on creativity, community, and confidence through hands-on, expressive learning experiences.

Meranda holds a bachelor’s degree with studies in photography, media, and graphic design and is currently completing a master’s degree in Communication with a concentration in New Media and Marketing. Her background in communication and visual design supports engaging learning environments that encourage clear expression and confidence. Meranda is in her fifth year homeschooling her children and brings an understanding of homeschool family dynamics, scheduling needs, and learner diversity, along with experience working with students from a range of educational backgrounds.

In addition to her teaching and communication work, Meranda is a licensed practical nurse with experience in patient education and wellness, informing her calm, safety- minded, and age-appropriate approach to group instruction. Prior to nursing, she spent ten years working in the restaurant industry and continues to work with food-based projects at home and in group settings. Together, these experiences inform her approach to culinary-based creative classes that emphasize approachable recipes, cleanliness, supervision, and enjoyment.

She also serves on the facilitator team at her church. Across all of her work, her goal is to encourage confidence, kindness, and thoughtful communication in ways that feel welcoming and supportive for students and families.
